On March 24th, the Vietnamese American community in San Jose gathered at the Vietnamese Community Center for the Vietnamese American Writing Contests Award party.
The organizer of the event, Minh Thanh Tran, spoke to Ding Ding TV about the event: “We organized two contests, we wanted writing and photography about the Lunar New Year celebrations and traditions. For the writing contest, we wanted writing about Lunar New Year that was happening a long time ago and today, how the two are different. And for the photography contest, it is all about the Lunar New Year.”
