Entrepreneur Andrew Yang addressed Democrats on Aug. 20 during the final night of the Democratic National Convention. The coronavirus pandemic upended both parties’ traditional conventions. Instead of in-person events, the program each night features a number of speakers and musical performances virtually across the country.

I’ve been a proud supporter of the Democratic Unity Fund since it was launched last year because I knew then what I know now:
In 2020, we as Democrats need to unite and mobilize like never before.
Now, with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris at the top of our Democratic ticket, never before have we had such an incredible opportunity to implement and effect real change. Together, we can build an economy that puts people first and usher in a new era for our country that is built on unity instead of division. But only with your support.
As an entrepreneur, I know a thing or two about the grit and the strength it takes to lead and the heart and compassion it takes to unify. And as a father to two incredible boys, I know why it’s so important to build an America that delivers on the promise of hope and prosperity for future generations. I know that Joe Biden possesses those strengths and shares that same commitment to this great country.
Now is the time to unify and act — and we can’t let this moment pass. With only 73 days remaining before the election, we must come together to send Donald Trump and his far-right allies in Congress packing. Make no mistake — we need your support to build up the critical resources and infrastructure that Democrats need in order to win big in November.
We can’t win without grassroots supporters just like you — but according to the team at the DNC, you haven’t made a donation directly to the Democratic Unity Fund yet.
