Lions Club Annual Conference

On July 22nd, the Lions Club held its annual conference. Cindy Zheng was named VDG for 4-C4.

In her speech Cindy Zheng said: “Together we can achieve great things and make even greater impact in our community. I am excited for upcoming Lion year filled with new opportunities and possibilities.”

Cindy Zheng started her lionistic involvement with San Francisco Chinatown Lions in 2002. Her vision of forming new clubs gave her the motivation to form the San Mateo Metro Lions and later formed four more clubs leading the District to top Constitutional Area 1 and 2 in Membership. Currently, she is the District Retention & Rebuilding Chair.

She has attended District Conventions, Multiple District Conventions, International Convention. As a successful Businesswoman, a former Pediatrician (MD) and a current Assistant Dean in a Medical School, she knows the value of leadership. She keeps herself abreast with Lions information to keep her club members of 150 and the other (4) club members informed as their organizer and their Guiding Lion.

Cindy Zheng’s passion causes include Childhood Cancer, Hunger and Diabetes and together with the members of the Lions Club helps those in need.
