Liesel lives for helping people. After three fulfilling decades of supporting managers and leaders solve business problems through information technology solutions, Liesel set out to assist people find their path to meaningful work and become purpose-driven leaders. She believes doing meaningful work leads to success and happiness. And she believes mentors play a crucial role in this process. She founded The Mentoring Club, Inc. to provide a mentoring community for aspiring and seasoned leaders in the workforce. By establishing a global platform, the Mentoring Club has the bold intent of changing the world, one leader at a time by providing a mentor for anyone who needs a mentor anywhere in the world. The community has grown to about 125 mentors and mentees from the United States, Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia, India, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, and Australia.

A veteran of Silicon Valley hi-tech, in project management and market development roles, Hong teaches software project management and enterprise agility at UCSC Silicon Valley. In the time of COVID-19, Hong’s focus has centered around remote and online facilitation and engagement, lifelong learning and skilling.
