Choices (弈) | IPAA Performing Arts Festival 2026
IPAA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching our regional arts community and bringing people together through dance, music, and cultural traditions. Each year, the festival brings together artists, families, students, community leaders, and audiences from across the Bay Area for a shared celebration of the performing arts.
This year’s festival, “Choices” (弈), will feature more than 100 local and guest artists representing a wide range of traditions, including Chinese classical and folk dance, ballet, Mexican and Indian dance, ballroom, hip hop, contemporary dance, live instrumental music, and Japanese Taiko drumming. The evening will culminate in a featured dance drama inspired by the classical ballad Exploring the Qing River (Tan Qing Shui He).
