We told a story of 21st-century art, being created in Pietrasanta, Italy since 2018 and being continued amidst  COVID-19 pandemic, in direct lineage of 16th century Italian Renaissance. The world knows the most celebrated sculptor of all times, Renaissance man Michelangelo, who carved his two most iconic statues out of Carrara marble: David and the Pietà. Our story includes a 32-ton single block of Carrara marble from the Michelangelo quarry. It took Maestro Nicola Stagetti six months to secure such a rare block to carve colossal Sculpture in one single block.

Maestro Nicola Stagetti started at a young age in the 1980s under the tutelage of his father, steeped in classic Italian artisan sculpture. Direct artistic creations, not mere designs, no computer models. Maestro Stagetti deemed this project “Pramashwar – The Infinite” the crowning work of his long career.

After the unveiling of the clay model of Pramashwar – The Infinite, art critics, gallerists, and artists from Europe, Russia, Australia, and the U.S. have hailed the making of a unique masterpiece. The highest-profiled Italian media concurred. In Pietrasanta, Tuscany — where the Carrara quarries are found, and Italian arts legacy is sustained by artists such as Maestro Stagetti — the Mayor has already planned a public unveiling ceremony in Pietrasanta when this work will be completed in the next few months. The mayor has accoladed PRAMASHWAR- The Infinite as pride of Pietrasanta .

The grand unveiling ceremony of PRAMASHWAR- The Infinite is being eagerly followed by Art critics and admirers of Art . The ceremonious event inviting performances by opera singers and dance performances choreographed by Adria Ferrali – Director of DAP Festivals  is expected soon at Piazza Duomo  in Pietrasanta , Italy on completion of the work by maestro Nicola Stagetti . The schedule of the event will soon  be  updated on Asian American network and Ding Ding TV website.
