Your story matters – Learn how to create a compelling story with Asian American Stories workshop

Asian American Stories Video Contest is open and we want to hear your story. This year’s theme is “Coming to America”. You can send your submissions to contest@dingdingtv.com. The video contest is open until March 31st.

In an era where we have too often been told to “go back to where we came from,” this series is a platform for Asian Americans to speak up, reclaim the narrative, and affirm our rightful place in the fabric of this nation. After exploring themes of belonging (2024) and our contributions to the country (2025), we are turning the lens toward our origins.

The 2026 Theme: “Coming to America”

Beyond the broad strokes of seeking “economic opportunity” or the “American Dream,” we want to hear your specific, personal truth. What were the unique goals, circumstances, or motivations that led you or your family to these shores?
