Silicon Valley Lunar New Year Together Press Conference
On Friday, Jan. 23rd, Silicon Valley Lunar New Year Together held a press conference at Santa Clara City Hall Quad.
With the incredible support of Santa Clara City’s Team, the stage, sound system, and backdrop were professionally set, and within 30 minutes, we delivered all the key messages that matter. Media from across Bay Area were present including Korean, Indian, Filipino, Chinese-language outlets, as well as mainstream channels including KRON 4, Discover Santa Clara, and radio media—helping amplify our message far beyond the room.
Our Mayor opened the press conference with heartfelt remarks, warmly inviting everyone to come experience Santa Clara.
What made the moment especially powerful was seeing our organizing committee members standing together in traditional attire from different cultures—one stage, many cultures, one shared celebration.

• 50+ elected officials and 4 Consuls General confirmed
• Hundreds of food options and cultural experiences
From Chinese calligraphy and traditional crafts, to Panda mascots, the God of Wealth, and the Monkey King for photo moments, plus inflatable play areas for kids—this will be the largest Lunar New Year Celebration & Night Market in Silicon Valley.
