Ding Ding TV Report – Screening of “Everyone Asked About You” (Winner of the Golden State Film Festival)
On March 27th, the screening of the Independent film “Everyone Asked About You” (winner of the Golden State Film Festival) was held at Marina Theater in San Francisco. The movie was followed by the panel discussion and Q&A with the stars and other VIP guests.
Diana Ding interviewed Rachel Bailit, the star of the movie, following the screening.
Synopsis: “Everyone Asked About You” explores the hidden struggles of child actors in Hollywood. Inspired by Jean-Luc Godard and Michelangelo Antonioni, the drama follows Simone (Rachel Bailit), a former child star, as she navigates the challenges of fame, relationships, and identity. When her partner Jack (John Lacy) pushes her into a compromising position, Simone faces a fight for survival in the harsh world of Hollywood. Flashback scenes unfold in black-and-white, contrasting with the vivid color of present-day moments.
