UCA Community Fund (UCACF) Opening Ceremony

On March 26th, UCA Community Fund (UCACF) held its first inauguration and fundraising gala at South Hill Country Club, West Covina, CA.

The UCA Community Foundation (UCACF) is a non-profit organization that provides seed funds, ranging from $500 to $5,000, for startup charitable community projects to enrich and empower Chinese American communities through civic engagement, education, heritage sharing, and youth development.

It aims to address the lack of funding sources, make it available to the community and help overcome the barriers in applying grants from mainstream foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Since the launch in July 2022, UCACF raised over $70,000, received 30 applications, and awarded $30,300 to 10 projects.

By supporting these initiatives, UCACF is committed to foster a strong sense of community and social cohesion within the Chinese American community and beyond.
