As our organization navigates the persistent pandemic, faces hiring and retention problems, and adapts for the future, now is a pivotal time to invest in professional development. Some nonprofit leaders are extraordinary—they consistently accomplish their organizations’ missions, earn the respect of their teams, better their communities, and transform the world. To accomplish this goal, we must understand and embrace the technical aspects of leadership, including conducting organizational assessments, improving our team’s effectiveness, and measuring the benefits of every decision.
