The speaker is so wrong! Chinese American are only 1.5% population and the students in UC system is more than 30%. There are so many engineers who are Asians 1/4 in all. Asian Americans are not under performing. It is about the field of interests. It takes time for Asian parents to educate and give their children sense of security and not just to train them to “earn money”!!
