Support Governor Newsom Press Conference By “The People for a Brighter Future”

California State Election officials recently announced that a special Recall Election will take place on September 14, 2021. The purpose of this special election is to ask Californians to consider removing Governor Gavin Newsom from office.

Today, we are responding to this action by announcing the establishment of

“The People for a Brighter Future.” While the support for Governor Newsom and opposition to the Recall Election is our introduction to political participation, the People for a Brighter Future will continue to support candidates and legislation that we believe shares our goal of a Brighter Future.

Governor Newsom followed the science and worked hard to ensure that California has the safest reopening possible. Governor Newsom will continue to boldly lead California through his California Comeback Plan, the most extensive economic recovery package in California history.

The special election forces Californians to defend our State and reject a “Power Grab” while recovering from Social, Economic, and Health crises.

The People for a Brighter Future is opposed to a change of Leadership that has presented and implemented measures to control and eliminate the Pandemic conditions, build much-needed Housing, stimulate our Economy, and protect our Future.

Now is the time to support Governor Newsom. The People for a Brighter Future is opposed to starting over and disagrees with the recall effort of those still unhappy with the election results from 2018.
