My name is Ellen Zhang and I am a youth reporter for Ding Ding TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Children in developing countries have been disproportionately affected by this global COVID-19 pandemic, and need all the help they can get. One organization, Village Book Builders provides this with the help of international donations. I had the opportunity to interview VBB CEO, Tyler Clark and we talked about what this organization does and how it has changed it’s outreach in the context of a worldwide pandemic. It’s incredible how much compassion people have not only for those around them. but even for children they’ve never met halfway across the world.

Village Book Builders is truly an incredible cause. The global mentoring program grew from 150 pairs to over 600 pairs during this pandemic period. I think iit can be called “Mentors without Botders”
