Ro Khanna on AI, Crypto, Silicon Valley & the Future of America

Congressman Ro Khanna Discusses AI, the American Dream, and the Future of Silicon Valley on Ding Ding TV’s Innovation Dialogue

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Ding Ding TV’s Innovation Dialogue recently sat down with Congressman Ro Khanna for a conversation on artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, economic opportunity, and the future of Silicon Valley.

At the beginning of the interview, Congressman Khanna thanked Ding Ding TV for its years of service to the community and recognized the organization’s efforts to keep diverse communities informed, connected, and engaged. Earlier that day, during an AANHPI Heritage Month event, Congressman Khanna presented Ding Ding TV with a Congressional Commendation in recognition of its contributions to the community.

During the interview, Khanna reflected on a recent conversation he had with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. He described Huang as a powerful example of the American Dream and praised his journey from immigrant roots to leading one of the world’s most influential technology companies.

At the same time, Khanna expressed concern that many young Americans today face greater barriers to achieving their own dreams. He pointed to rising college costs and the burden of student loan debt, noting that many graduates spend years trying to repay loans that limit their economic opportunities. He emphasized the importance of expanding access to education and creating pathways for young people to succeed.

Artificial intelligence was another major topic of discussion. Khanna believes America must continue leading the world in AI innovation, but he stressed that the benefits of technological progress should not be concentrated among a small group of wealthy individuals or corporations. Instead, he argued, advances in AI should improve opportunities for workers, students, families, and communities across the country.

The conversation also explored cryptocurrency and digital assets. Khanna called for thoughtful policies that encourage innovation while protecting consumers and maintaining public trust.

Looking ahead, Khanna shared his vision for a Silicon Valley that continues to drive global innovation while expanding opportunity for future generations. He expressed optimism that technology, when guided by strong values and public purpose, can help create a more prosperous and inclusive America.
