There is still time to share your story in the 2026 Asian American Stories Video Contest! The deadline is March 31st.

This year’s theme is “Coming to America”.

From the earliest settlers seeking new freedoms to the millions who have followed across centuries, our nation’s fabric is woven from diverse immigrant journeys. Whether your ancestors arrived generations ago or you are first-generation, the story of “Coming to America” is deeply embedded in our collective identity. We want to hear your story!

Need some help creating a video? No problem! Asian American Stories hosted a free workshop to help. The topics in the workshop included a deep dive into the 2026 rules and submission details, practical tips on how to film and edit your 1-minute video and a Q&A session from the organizers.
